Across the country, Camelback Fellows are building what comes next.

They are reimagining classrooms. Creating pathways to economic mobility. Building technology shaped by the people who will use it. Strengthening communities. Developing solutions born from lived experience, deep knowledge, and a clear vision for what could be different.

At Camelback Ventures, we believe these leaders should have the capital, coaching, community, connections, and room to build.

Stay with the work.

Ask any entrepreneur: big ideas are rarely built in a moment.

They take time. Iteration. Community. Someone to call when the plan changes. Capital at the right moment. An introduction that opens a new door. People willing to stay alongside the work as it grows.

That is why we are inviting you to make a monthly gift to Camelback: to stand with the entrepreneurs building what their communities need.

A recurring gift of $25, $50, or $100 a month provides steady, flexible support that allows Camelback to keep showing up for Fellows throughout the year.

Not just when a new cohort begins. Not just when a founder reaches a milestone. But through the long, complicated, exciting process of building something that matters.

Fellows Are Already Building What's Next

Mercy Oladipo came to MIT drawn to both computer science and medicine, with equity as the thread running through everything she built. As a sophomore, in an incubator for women in public interest technology, she had the idea that became Birth By Us.

Today, Birth By Us is a pregnancy and postpartum app built by and for Black women. Users answer a daily questionnaire that screens for symptoms often overlooked, and receive resources tailored to their experience. The goal is to narrow the racial disparity in maternal deaths and connect Black mothers with community programs.

Before the Fellowship, Birth By Us had already raised $7,000 through MIT Sandbox and won a $15,000 grant at the MIT IDEAS Social Innovation Challenge.

The vision belonged to Mercy. The work was already underway.

Camelback joined the journey by providing the kind of support founders need as they build: capital, strategic coaching, community, connections, and the space to strengthen both their ventures and their leadership.

Across the Camelback community, stories like this are unfolding every day.

What Starts With a Fellow Travels Further

Since 2015, Camelback Fellows have built organizations that reach far beyond themselves.

Behind every number are people: founders, teams, students, families, educators, workers, neighbors, and communities experiencing what becomes possible when a strong idea has room to grow.

And there is still so much more to build.

Why Camelback

The people with some of the clearest ideas for strengthening their communities have not always had equal access to capital, networks, or the relationships that help ventures grow.

Camelback works to change that.

Through the Camelback Fellowship and our broader work with entrepreneurs, we invest in leaders and the visions they already carry. We bring together capital, coaching, connections, community, and curriculum because building a venture takes more than any one resource, and because founders should not have to build alone.

Your support helps make that work possible.

More ways to build with us

Donor-advised fund If you have a DAF at Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, or a community foundation, you can recommend a grant to Camelback Ventures directly from your account. December is the busiest grant season of the year, so it helps to recommend early and give the transfer time to clear. Legal name: Camelback Ventures | EIN: 46-3169470

Stock and appreciated securities Giving appreciated stock held more than a year can mean avoiding capital gains tax while deducting the full market value. Transfers usually take several business days, so around December 20 is a comfortable starting point. → Reach out to Satya Nelms, satya@camelbackventures.org, and we'll walk you through it.

Employer matching Many employers match employee gifts, some at 2:1. A quick look at your company's giving portal is often the easiest way to increase what your gift does.

By check Camelback Ventures 900 Camp St, 3rd Floor, #1243, New Orleans, LA 70130. Postmarked by December 31 to count toward 2026.

There Is a Place for You in What We Build Together

You do not need to make the largest gift in the room to make a meaningful commitment.

You can choose $25 a month. $50. $100. You can make a one-time gift. You can begin today and stay with us throughout the year.

However you choose to participate, you are helping sustain an ecosystem where Fellows can keep doing what they do best:

Seeing possibility. Building solutions. Helping build what's next.
