Goal

Spanning a breath-taking 5,500 meters in elevation, from the majestic peaks of the Himalayas to the vast expanses of the Sundarbans Delta, we are setting out to uncover the innovative water management practices of West Bengal and Sikkim. Our mission is twofold: spotlight pioneering water projects and disseminate knowledge from regional experts. Our discoveries will be showcased through photo stories and short film. Furthermore, to strengthen the partnerships we encounter, we aim to host a stakeholder forum on Water Innovation, uniting our regional partners with the broader international water community. This comprehensive approach is designed to ignite discourse on sustainable water management amidst the challenges of climate change.

At this juncture, we're reaching out for your support. Despite the amazing support of our donors, several unforeseen challenges, including the loss of some expected support, have created significant budget gaps. If you would like to contribute to this trip, we would greatly appreciate your help.

Funds cater to our team's travel and on-ground expenses, as well as those of our regional partners who will accompany us at various stages to impart their invaluable knowledge. Other expenses include rent for filming & photo equipment, as well as health and safety precautions, such as first aid training and vaccinations. Should we be fortunate enough to receive more than we require to cover our expenses, all excess funds will be donated to our regional partners in support of their community-based water projects.

Thank you!
