WATA-Women Against Teen Abuse Center
WATA - Women Against Teen Abuse is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in the Gadsden, South Carolina area, serving the needs of youth throughout many communities by helping and inspiring youth and teenagers experiencing acts of bullying and abuse. We will equip them with life skills, promote healthier lifestyles, and assist in their transition into holistic adulthood.
As a part of this transition, we are looking to begin our Next Gen project. This includes the development of a career center, technology lab, library, one-on-one mentorship offerings, a 24-7 crisis center, food pantry, and more. In this center, youth will learn career skills that will assist them with obtaining a job after high school or college. We also encourage the route of entrepreneurship in our youth to let them know they are capable of starting their own businesses. These additions to our organization will aide in changing the narrative of our youth, helping them understand there are far more talents within themselves than they realize.
By contributing to this campaign, you place WATA and the youth affected closer to these goals! Your donations are highly appreciated and we look forward to your support of WATA's continuous missions.
