Wanderlensky came to us in September 2026 after his parents separated. Both of his parents are very young and were not in a position to care for him on their own.

His grandmother stepped in and took guardianship of him, but unfortunately, she is also unable to provide for all of his daily needs, including consistent food and an education. Through a longtime employee of ECCBH, she came to us asking for help.

We welcomed Wanderlensky with open arms and are slowly getting to know this sweet little boy!

So far, we’ve learned that he loves Oreos, toy cars, and exploring everything around him. He has lots of gibberish to share with anyone who will listen, and for the most part, he is a happy little guy who keeps himself busy discovering his new surroundings.

We are grateful to be able to give Wanderlensky a safe place to call home, make sure his daily needs are met, and give him the opportunity to grow, learn, and simply be a kid.
