Walt's World: Compassion in Action Community Fund

Walt’s World is dedicated to honoring the legacy of Walt, our beloved gentle giant pig gone too soon, by promoting a compassionate, sustainable world. We advocate for a future where empathy, kindness, and respect guide our treatment of all living beings, human and animal alike through community outreach programs and initiatives.

Current Community Programs Include:

Pet Food & Human Food Plant Based Food Pantry

Spay/Neuter Vouchers

Monthly Low-Cost/No-Cost Vet Clinic

Community Cat TNR (trap, spay/neuter and release of stray cats living in cat colonies)

Walt’s World is a legacy dedicated to honoring the spirit of Walt, the gentle giant pig, and his vision of a compassionate, harmonious world. In his memory, the Foundation is committed to creating a future where no animals are harmed, and all living beings—human and animal alike—thrive in peace and mutual respect.

Walt’s World seeks to inspire and promote a world where empathy, kindness, and sustainability guide every decision. Through advocacy, education, and community engagement, we champion a world where plant-based living is the norm, and where animals are seen not as commodities, but as valued beings deserving of protection and care.

Our mission is to cultivate a world where compassion is woven into the very fabric of society. A world where the earth’s resources are respected, ecosystems flourish, and every individual—human and animal—is able to live freely and without fear.  We envision a future where the abundance of nature sustains us all, and where cruelty has no place in our food systems, our culture, or our lives.

Walt's World works to advance the principles of ethical living, environmental stewardship, and social justice, striving to create a legacy that embodies Walt’s unwavering commitment to kindness.  Through our programs and partnerships, we aim to bring Walt’s dream to life: a world where all beings are treated with the dignity they deserve, where compassion guides every action, and where sustainability and love define our future. In honor of Walt, who taught us that the greatest strength lies in gentleness and that the most powerful change starts with kindness, the community outreach and education program continues to champion the vision of Walt’s World—a legacy that will live on through the choices we make and the world we build together.
