Walk With Me Challenge

A Poodle Against Liver Disease

My name is Tamika Smith and I am a living testimony. It is impossible for anyone to observe me and discern that just 12 months ago, I was on the brink of death. In actuality, I was informed that my demise would occur before the end of March and definitely be dead by December 31, 2023. Within weeks my life changed forever and I was diagnosed with Liver Disease which caused me to have to undergo transplant surgery.  Many people like myself don’t know much about Liver disease or only think that you have to partake in drugs and alcohol to be diagnosed which is furthest from the truth.  There are many things that can occur that can lead to liver disease. I Walk to bring awareness to others about Liver disease and the importance of Liver Health!
