In Gurdaspur, Punjab, countless young girls face a heartbreaking reality: lack of access to education, crumbling schools, and the constant shadow of inequality. Adding to this crisis is Punjab’s growing drug problem, which has become a devastating epidemic, especially in rural areas.

For many families, drugs are tearing communities apart— leaving children without parents, parents without children and depriving generations of hope. Without access to education and opportunities, many girls risk falling victim to the ripple effects of this crisis.
