Goal
Right now WALC needs your help. Recently CCFC learned that a major source of WALC funding will not be available this year as it was in other years. Please consider increasing your support for WALC in 2019 so that CCFC can continue to provide this excellent opportunity to young women seeking an education.
CCFC's WALC (Women in Agroecology Leadership for Conservation) is a holistic leadership training program for young women. Although the program has a strong focus on agroecology, WALC students learn about nutrition, cooking, health and hygiene, family planning, career and educational options, self-esteem and confidence building, and a large array of other life-skills. WALC has a proven track record of helping young women remain in school and fulfill their dreams of getting an education despite the overwhealming odds against them.
