CCFC's WALC (Women in Agroecology Leadership for Conservation) is a holistic leadership training program for young women. With a strong focus on conservation and agroecology, WALC students learn about nutrition, cooking, health and hygiene, family planning, career and educational options, self-esteem and confidence building, and a large array of other life-skills. WALC has a proven track record of helping young women remain in school and fulfill their dreams of getting an education despite the overwhelming odds against them.
