My wife and I have lived in East Cobb for 34 years and have been very satisfied with the local government structure and governance. The last thing we need is to create another layer of government serving the personal needs and ambitions of Matt Dollar, other politicians and developers.

I live in the Westchester Subdivision which is off Marby Rd north of Shallowford. Our subdivision is not within the proposed boundary for the City of East Cobb. If the city is created it will take away our closest fire station affecting response times for our area. Those of us outside the proposed boundary will also be adversely affected if this new unnecessary city is created.
