First and foremost, thank you for supporting Voices for a Safer Tennessee and the work we are doing as we advocate for firearm safety reform in our state. While the event at Covenant was the catalyst for my involvement in this work, I soon learned just how badly TN ranks in the nation for firearm violence, suicide by firearms, and crimes committed with firearms. Personally, I want my children to live in a place where they are not afraid to be in public places, school, or church, and I believe we can work with our legislature to find solutions that reach that goal. We are a non-partisan group representing individuals from the right, left, and the middle; gun owners and not; all with the common goal of working together to create reasonable but effective firearm safety laws.
