Voices for a Safer TN formed after the Covenant shooting in Nashville on March 27.  It is a day that changed our city forever and remains ever present on our minds.  As a group of concerned citizens, we are seeking to change the culture in Tennessee where access to firearms is through a wide open door.  We believe that the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms must be balanced with the safety of our communities.  We seek common sense, reasonable, and practical reform to the laws in Tennessee. 

Governor Bill Lee has called a special legislative session on the issue of firearms and public safety.  It is crucial that he not be intimidated by a small but loud group of citizens who thinks complete, unfettered access to guns is a Constitutional right.
