Vivify Renters Rights Advocacy

Our mission is to inspire hope, address social discontinuities, and empower low- to moderate-income populations in disenfranchised and historically marginalized communities through advocacy and education.

We advocate for tenants who are facing wrongful eviction from an apartment or house, especially during the novel coronavirus pandemic. Renters sometimes find themselves facing homelessness during a locally-mandated moratorium on evictions or in retaliation for participating in protected activities in opposition of a landlord (like requesting repairs).

Our advocates help renters understand their rights and responsibilities and provide information about navigating the complex legal system of rules and regulations that protect tenant rights. We also provide support for those who have been wrongfully evicted, including assistance finding alternative housing, moving assistance, short-term rental assistance, deposits, and other services to families whose rights have been violated.
