Vivify IEP/504 Advocacy
Our mission is to inspire hope, address social discontinuities, and empower low- to moderate-income populations in disenfranchised and historically marginalized communities through advocacy and education.
We advocate for children to receive the individualized instruction they need to be successful in school. An IEP (individualized education program) is a plan or roadmap that shows how a school will support a child who needs special education. A 504 plan provides legal protections and individual accommodations in an academic setting for students with disabilities to achieve academic success.
Our advocates help parents understand the rights of the children and ensure that children receive the support they need within the school system. We also provide resources to help the children be successful, depending on the instructional needs of the student. This may include laptops, internet access, vision care, online education services, technology training, and more.
