Village of the Blue Rose

The Village of the Blue Rose is a non-denominational Christian community where adults with developmental disabilities live, work and can reach their full potential.  Our mission is to show the public the beauty of our "Blue Roses" —our residents— by focusing on what they CAN do instead of what they can't, while at the same time providing a safe and loving environment for them to live, learn and work.

The Village of the Blue Rose is located in Clarksville, Missouri on 60+ acres, on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River, and it consists of:

  • 2 residences - a men's house and a women's house. Each can house up to 4 residents and a house parent.
  • The Village of the Blue Rose Bed & Breakfast
  • The Lodge Restaurant
  • The Red Barn Antique Shop
  • The Village Flea Market

We currently have six residents living at The Village and who, with a little help and guidance, are employed at our businesses.  Our goals are to grow The Village of the Blue Rose to accommodate and support 25 residents, and to add a chapel and a community center.

Although we are licensed by the Missouri Department of Mental Health we receive no government funding.  We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and OUR EXISTENCE AND GROWTH RELIES ON THE GENEROSITY OF OTHERS!

Please donate today to help us continue our mission!!
