We are creating a US Veterans Recovery Fund specifically to address the mental health needs of the 18 – 34 year old veterans population.
As sportsbetting continues to grow across the country, we want to keep a close eye on this population to ensure all of the tools and
resources that they need to achieve long term sustainability and productive lives are available in the event that they harm themselves through sportsbetting.
Our objective with this fund is to provide teletherapy support, financial counseling, and a hardship contribution to help them reset and stabilize after a serious mental health event involving a gambling disorder.
In the event that the Veteran needs access to more acute care, we will provide tele support before their intake and after their discharge of care to collect as much quality recovery data on the Veteran and get a
comprehensive view of the persons journey.
Intense Outpatient and Inpatient treatment will also be covered for qualifying Veterans. In the event that the Veteran needs care over a long period of time, depending on their financial status, we intend on
using the fund to help cover living costs for the Veteran and their immediate family to ease the burden and keep the Veteran focused on recovering wholly.
Veterans will be able to apply for a scholarship to cover any or all of the following:
- Performance Coaching
- Intense Outpatient Therapy
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Services
- Recovery Coaching
- Financial Coaching
- Housing, Utilities, Automotive Hardship
- Food Security
- Medical Bill Assistance
All participants will be required to complete a prescribed care plan to receive the full benefit of the program.
