Venezuela nos necesita

On June 24, my country was struck by two devastating earthquakes. In just a matter of minutes, entire communities were changed forever. Thousands of people lost their lives, many more were injured, and countless others are still missing. Families have been torn apart, homes have been reduced to rubble, and so many children are now facing a future filled with uncertainty.

Over the past week, I have watched from afar with a heavy heart. I am incredibly grateful for the NGOs, humanitarian organizations, volunteers, first responders, and every person who has selflessly given their time, resources, and even risked their own lives to help the people of Venezuela. Their compassion has been a light in the middle of so much darkness.

Being so far away has left me feeling helpless, but I know I can still do something. That's why I am raising funds to support the children of Venezuela as they begin the long road to recovery.

The donations will be distributed through Ventura Orbit, an organization that I have proudly supported for years because of its unwavering commitment to helping vulnerable children in Venezuela. I have complete trust in this organization—not only because of the incredible work they have been doing for Venezuelan children, but also because its founder is one of my lifelong friends, someone whose integrity, compassion, and dedication I know firsthand. Through Ventura Orbit and its trusted network of partners across Venezuela, every donation will go where it is needed most, always with a focus on helping children rebuild their lives after this unimaginable tragedy.

The headlines may eventually fade, but these children will continue needing help for weeks and months to come. Recovery does not end when the cameras leave.
