Venezuela Earthquake Recovery Campaign

Dear Friends and Partners,

Venezuela has been impacted by two powerful earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 in magnitude, leaving communities facing significant loss and beginning the difficult process of recovery. While the full scope of the impact is still emerging, we know that trusted local organizations will play a critical role in helping families recover and rebuild.

We have launched the Venezuela Earthquake Recovery Campaign to mobilize resources for our partners on the ground as they lead recovery efforts. Funds raised will be directed to vetted organizations responding to the aftermath of the earthquake and supporting affected families and communities.

These are the organizations we are working with:

Accion Solidaria - 30 years of experience providing health care services and human rights advocacy to the most overlooked communities in Venezuela. They are currently managing a collection center and distributing essential medical and personal supplies to the victims.

Impronta - a trusted community partner in the poorest areas of Caracas is working closely with parishes in La Guaira and shelters in Caracas, the most impacted areas by the earthquakes, to provide essential supplies to the victims. 

Fe y Alegria - the largest educational network in the country. 19 schools have been significantly damaged so the funds will be used to rebuild and reestablish full operations. They are also providing psychological support to students and families who survived the earthquakes.  

As more information becomes available, we will continue to share updates on the evolving situation and how funds are being directed to support recovery efforts.
