The Unitarian Universalist Hysterical Society Facebook group is a special corner of the interwebs, where kindness and humour play together. The UUHS group is unique and fun, and we have our professional, super dedicated moderators, Kathy and Lynn to thank.
A humour group of this size (over 195K!) requires paid moderation. This usually means ads or a paywall, but we do things a little differently. Every spring we run a Mods Appreciation Week in the group, accompanied by a fundraiser. UUHS group members who can afford to support their mods financially are able to do so, and all may heap praise and love upon Lynn and Kathy.
