The crew of Boat 4 humbly asks you to support City of Refuge as part of the 2023 URMIA Conference in Baltimore. This organization's mission focuses on bringing support to families and individuals who are in transition or would like to spur transition in their lives.

URMIA has a tradition of giving back to the host conference city through a community service project. URMIACares allows conference attendees to have fun, network with fellow risk managers and insurance professionals, all the while giving back to local nonprofits. This year the conference includes a Regatta.

Although we are not sailors or skilled boaters, we whole-heartedly believe that providing services focusing on health and wellness, job training, supportive housing, youth empowerment, and preventing human trafficking will make an impact on the Baltimore and surrounding community.

City of Refuge provides regular programs such as daily lunches, resources for infants and youth, GED prep, IT training, and a weekly pantry to individuals who express a need.

Even if you can't hoist a sail, you can donate a dollar to a great cause! And if you’re in the Baltimore area, head over to the Regatta to cheer us on in person on Sunday, September 10 from 12:30-3:30pm.
