We can’t think of anything more important than feeling safe and bringing our whole self to everything we do. It’s why the Crew of Boat 6 are asking for your help in supporting the Pride Center of Maryland as part of the 2023 URMIA Conference in Baltimore. 

URMIA has a tradition of giving back to the host conference city through a community service project. URMIACares allows conference attendees to have fun, network with fellow risk managers and insurance professionals, all the while giving back to local nonprofits.  This year the conference includes a Regatta.

Let’s be honest, there’s a really good chance we may not win the regatta.  We’re not really sailors. But we’re seriously committed to raising funds for the Pride Center of Maryland.   As members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community, we’re personally invested in elevating this important work.

The Pride Center of Maryland offers over 30 programs and services dedicated to ensuring Maryland’s sexual and gender minority community have equal access to care, services, and a space where they can be their authentic selves. 

Come sail away with us and pledge your pride! And if you’re in the Baltimore area, head over to the Regatta to cheer us on in person.
