3-year-old Omar, survived the destruction of their home after becoming trapped with his family beneath the rubble. 

The trauma has left him with severe psychological challenges that require intense ABA intervention and therapy, he also suffers from a heart condition that requires medication and constant medical care, care that is no longer available in Gaza.

His Father sustained a traumatic brain injury from shrapnel and spent time in a coma fighting for his life.

His Mother survived with a broken arm and severe internal bleeding, requiring emergency surgery and ongoing care.

The family’s suffering does not end there. The Uncle lives every day in severe pain and urgently needs intestinal surgery due to injuries caused by the war.

After examination by tele-radiology, Mr. Khaled Fouad Kamal was found to be suffering from symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), difficulty swallowing, and weakness in esophageal movement, according to the esophageal manometry test.

Based on these findings, it was recommended that he undergo a GERDx procedure to strengthen the lower esophageal sphincter. This is a non-surgical procedure performed through the mouth using the GERDx device.

The patient requires esophageal manometry before the procedure, at a total cost of EGP 15,000, including the use of a single-use catheter.

The cost of the procedure is EGP 200,000, which includes:

* The GERDx device

* Medical consumables

* Hospital admission

* Anesthesia

* Physicians and assisting medical staff

Their surviving Grandmother whose family home in north gaza was completely destroyed and suffered the martyrdom of her son, his wife and their 4 children. She requires life-saving heart surgery and longterm medication that cannot be found or performed in Gaza.

The family includes three innocent children:

• Tuleen, age 8
• Ali, age 10

Tuleen (8) and Ali (10) survived the bombing of their home by the grace of Allah. They were in a different part of the house when it collapsed, allowing them to escape without physical injuries. While their bodies were spared, the trauma of losing their home and living through war has deeply affected them.

After losing two years of a normal childhood, their greatest wish is simple: to live in safety, return to school, receive an education, and enjoy the childhood every child deserves.

After losing their home and enduring devastating injuries, they are now hoping for one thing: the opportunity to relocate to Cairo Egypt, where they can finally access the medical treatment and safety they desperately need.
