Urgent Appeal for Mercy Rescue Trust
We desperately need YOUR help.
We know that everyone around the world is facing challenges and that your own personal budgets are getting tighter. Costs of food, fuel and energy are affecting everyone including us here in Kenya. It has affected us so much at Mercy Rescue that in a couple of months we will be unable to continue fully funding the work we do in Kenya.
We project that by the end of October our bank account will be at zero.
Each month we receive £3500 ($4000) in regular donations.
We spend an average of £8000 ($9200) each month on providing the necessary care for the babies we rescue.
Mercy Rescue Trust was started in 2006 in response to a famine in Kenya which killed many people and left many children destitute. We rescue between 35 to 45 babies each year who otherwise would’ve been left to die. We strongly believe that each baby needs a family so our focus is making sure they all end up in a safe and loving environment to call their own.
