大学沙龙起步于2015年，目前是501(c)(3)公益组织。大学沙龙首任董事会主席是已故的哈佛大学傅高义教授，现任董事会主席是甫卸任费正清中心主任的哈佛大学宋怡明教授。秉持兼容并包、独立开放的精神，大學沙龙立足哈佛，放眼世界，致力于建设最好的中文国际学术公益平台。

The University Forum is an academic platform initiated in 2015 and now a 501(c)(3) organization. The inaugural chairperson was the late Professor Ezra Vogel from Harvard University. The current chairperson is Professor Michael Szonyi, from the Departments of History and East Asian Languages and Civilizations of Harvard University and the former director of Harvard’s Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies. Adhering to the spirit of inclusiveness, independence and openness, the forum is dedicated to establishing a charitable organization that provides a premier Chinese-language international academic platform. Rooted at Harvard, we contemplate the intersection of the world and China.

There are no barriers to academic studies and no boundaries to thinking. We hope to find you among our fellow travelers on the journey to pursue truth.
