In 1967, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. planned to lead thousands of Black Americans on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. The journey was postponed after the Six-Day War, then rescheduled for 1968—the year Dr. King was assassinated. His vision was never realized.

This November, that unfinished vision moves forward.

The Black Christian Leadership Council on Israel Relations (BCLCIR) is leading the Unfinished Business: Holy Land Tour, bringing hundreds of Black American and African pastors, faith leaders, and community leaders to Israel for a historic journey of faith, education, and partnership. Together, participants will deepen their understanding of Israel, strengthen Black–Jewish relations, stand against antisemitism, and build relationships that will impact future generations.
