Each year UP’s employees propose a charity to the board which the company will support for the next year. Last year KOGS were chosen and we have decided that we will continue to support KOGS for a further 2 years!
Keeping Our Girls Safe (KOGS) is a local charity based in Failsworth, working with children and young people to Educate about unhealthy relationships, child sexual exploitation (CSE), grooming and risks; to Empower them to have confidence and self-esteem; and Inspire them to make positive life choices (www.kogs.org.uk ). The money we raise will go towards supporting girls and their families within the local area.
