Ukraine relief mission 2024

Support Our Humanitarian Mission in Ukraine

We need your support to make this mission a reality. Please donate and share this page.

WHAT WE PLAN TO DO

Our mission has evolved! We maintain continuous, direct communication with individuals and organizations on the ground in Ukraine, striving to gain real-time insight into their needs and requirements. This allows us to ensure that our actions have the most significant impact possible.

During our mission to Ukraine last year, our dedicated team collaborated closely with the "Light of the World" Christian church in Reni. This remarkable church is actively engaged in a wide array of support activities, not only for their own community but also for the numerous refugees in their vicinity.

One of their many remarkable initiatives is the provision of daycare, education, and recreational facilities for children and young adults. We aim to place these vital services at the forefront of our upcoming mission!

Together with the inspiring Michele, the leader of this community, we have carefully assessed their needs and formulated the following mission objectives:

  • Starlink Satellite Internet Terminal: Due to the ongoing bombing of the telecommunications infrastructure and frequent cyberattacks crippling phone and internet services for days or even weeks, installing a Starlink satellite internet terminal is imperative. This will grant them an independent and resilient internet connection, significantly enhancing communication and coordination.
  • Solar Power Equipment Installation: Equipping them with solar power equipment will provide a crucial backup system to ensure continuous power for their essential services.
  • Indoor WiFi Network: We plan to set up an indoor WiFi network linked to the Starlink terminal, enabling internet access throughout the building, thereby connecting the community even more effectively.
  • Children's Backpacks: Many children in the region have very little, and refugee children have even less. We aim to assemble 100 children's backpacks filled with essentials such as notepads, pens, pencils, coloring books, and toys. These will be distributed to the children attending the daycare center, bringing smiles and brighter prospects.
  • Saferoom Construction: In light of the escalating air attacks on Reni, the current room where children take shelter during emergencies is neither large enough nor strong enough. We plan to collaborate with the church and local tradespeople to raise funds and oversee the necessary construction work to extend and reinforce this space, ensuring the safety of the children.
  • Mobile Medical Clinics: Our mission includes bringing a small medical team and ample supplies to establish pop-up clinics in the area. This dedicated team will address urgent medical conditions and offer screenings and assessments for those in need of further medical care.

Your contribution will play a pivotal role in making these critical initiatives a reality and improving the lives of those facing hardship in Ukraine. Together, we can make a significant impact and bring hope to those in need. Donate today and share our mission with your network to magnify our collective impact. Together, we can make a difference!
