Goal

Dear family and friends,

As many of you know, last summer I had the incredible opportunity of working with Ukrainian children and their families in Poland for two weeks. The experience was truly transformative and a huge success, as we were able to provide a safe and joyful environment for the kids, organize various activities and games, and foster connections among Ukrainian families during a challenging time.

I am thrilled to announce that I will be returning to Poland this summer to continue serving our Ukrainian brothers and sisters in Krakow. In July, the John Paul II Project will be hosting its second English Immersion Camp, aimed at assisting Ukrainian families in Krakow. Last year, the camp was a wonderful time of formation and fun for the kids, and I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to return and help make this summer even better.

However, organizing such a camp requires substantial financial resources. To help cover the expenses, I have set a goal to raise $2500. Approximately $400 of this amount would cover my own living expenses, while the remaining funds will be used to provide essential supplies, food, and other necessities for the kids attending the camp. Your help would go a long way in making this summer an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

If you wish to contribute an amount large or small – as part of your tithe, or in place that occasional $5 latte;) — I would be immensely grateful for your support. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant impact. Regardless, please keep me and the John Paul II Project in your prayers as we embark on this mission to serve our brothers and sisters abroad.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message and for considering supporting this cause that is close to my heart. Your generosity and prayers mean the world to me, and they will undoubtedly touch the lives of the Ukrainian families.

With love and gratitude,

Eamonn

Attached below is a note from the founders of the John Paul II Project

Dear friend,

As their homeland is being devastated by war, many Ukrainian children are living in Krakow, Poland - the homeland of Saint John Paul II.

Our mission is to help young people build the civilization of love and truth, and what better way for American young adults to do so than by encouraging, teaching and evangelizing the future generation of Ukraine - all in the spirit of Saint John Paul II!

Last year's Ukrainian Kids Camp was a wonderful success, with 100 children and only 9 outside volunteers. This year parents and children alike are excited to experience a place of joy and freedom, to grow in friendship with each other and Jesus, and to improve their English with native speakers.

(Ukraine Kids Camp 2022)

We need your help this year to sponsor 100 Ukrainian children, to bring 18 young Americans to Krakow, and to make this camp twice as good for our little campers!

Your impact will carry far into the future of these little children's lives, as well as the lives of the young adults who will serve them. We are very grateful for every dollar you are able to contribute.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Peace be with you,

Joe & Corinne MacDonald

Such a wonderful program and I’m so proud of my nephew Eamonn for all that he’s doing to make a positive impact in the lives of so many deserving children.
