Unearthing Farm

Welcome 2024 with us - we are *so thankful* for all your support. This year, we are especially looking for monthly donations, big and small, to keep rent, utilities, very very part time personnel, and our farm fridge covered.

About us: We're a not-for-profit urban farm located next to Sugar Creek in East Atlanta. We grow organic, regionally-specific fruits and vegetables, flowers, and herbs, and we share space with a native and edible landscaping company. For all things we can't do ourselves, we partner with local, community-minded producers committed to the same values. 

In everything that we do, we are driven by the ethos of "no one turned away for lack of funds." We host a weekly farmstand, keep a farm fridge filled 24/7, accept SNAP/EBT, and offer discounts and free food to anyone who might need it. No proof of need necessary. 

We were founded out of abolitionist politics, and our decisions are made with our steering committee, our community, and each member of our horizontally-organized staff. We are committed to antiracist and inclusive work, to being active allies, and we aim not only to welcome but to prioritize marginalized voices and projects through this work. 

We strive to make this space accessible, safe, and unintimidating. This is a community farm, and we want to do right by the land through our stewardship and by the community through our labor. 

And of course, we are learning (and unlearning) as we go.
