UChicago 3rd Annual Conference on Life
UChicago Students for Life is a non-religious, student-led pro-life group on campus. We seek to inform our campus about the realities of abortion and euthanasia, resist these offenses against human dignity, and provide charitable service to the campus community and Chicago as a whole. In the spirit of our university, we hope to spark civil discussion on these issues.
We affirm the following ethical and political stances:
1. As the intentional taking of innocent human life, abortion is wrong and ought to be illegal.
2. The dignity of human life extends from conception to natural death. In betraying the dignity of the elderly, the disabled, and the infirm, euthanasia is wrong and ought to be illegal.
