Support Ukraine's special forces: 3rd SOF regiment 

After our fundraiser to Chasiv Yar we focus again on a unit fighting at the hottest areas. And this time it's a very special unit: The 3rd Separate Special Purpose Regiment "Prince Svyatoslav the Brave" 

This regiment is a formation of special forces as part of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is part of the United Rapid Response Forces. 

During the years of Ukrainian independence, operators of the 3rd SOF reg. repeatedly participated in international trainings and peacekeeping operations. In particular, the regiment's representatives represented the Armed Forces of Ukraine for two years in a row at international competitions of reconnaissance groups held in Slovakia, where they won prizes among teams from more than ten participating countries.

Faithful to the glorious traditions, scouts of the 3rd Special Operations Forces regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 2014 actively participate in the defense of Ukraine against the armed invasion of the Russian Federation engaging in the following battles: 

First Battle of Donetsk Airport

Battle of Artemivsk

Second Battle of Donetsk Airport

Battle in Shakhtarsk Raion

Battle of Ilovaisk

Battle of Debaltseve

Now the 3rd Special Operations Forces regiment is performing numerous tasks in all areas of defense, starting from battles for Kyiv and Kyiv region to Donetsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Sumy, Kharkiv regions. Among others the most notable battles are the following: defence of Kyiv, Kharkiv region counteroffensive operation, defence of Bakhmut, defence of Avdiivka.

So what does this unit need:

* Communication equipment (radios, starlinks)

* Reconnaissance means

* UAVs

* Anti-drone equipment

* Powerstations

The target of this fundraiser is $35,000. Funds coming in after reaching the target will replenish our general drone fundraiser.

The SOF unit has provided us with the following cool give-aways:

- Patches for donations of $250

- Unsigned flags for donations of $500

- Signed flags for donations of $1000 

*after completion of the fundraiser, donors will be contacted via e-mail for the shipping details of the promised patches and art works. Therefore, please make sure that your e-mail address is stated correctly. Be aware production and shipping can take 3 (for the patches) up to 5 (for the art works ) months.
