My name is Janiyah C. I am thirteen years old and currently in eighth grade. I have been a part of TWST4Girls for three years, and this year, I plan to attend my first International Service & Learning trip to Egypt with the organization. I would love your support in helping me reach my goal. Your support would mean I get to volunteer in a Nubian village to teach English to women and children while developing a global perspective, gaining enriched historical education, cultivating my confidence, growing my independence, and strengthening my college and scholarship applications when the time comes. With your support, this experience will be a huge milestone I will carry with me for the rest of my life. The idea that a thirteen-year-old girl from Houston, Texas, could travel to Africa and teach women and children how to speak English seems surreal to me, but I know it all could be possible with your support.
