Tulips for Trauma

I have been involved with the work at Fields of Grace for a few years now. My favorite part about working there - besides the beautiful flowers (of course) - is the ability to witness God's provision and excellence on full display. Not just in the intricate beauty of the flowers or the peaceful setting of the farm, but to see how He calls us to lean and depend on Him through it all. Through many ups and downs, restructuring, and lots of change - God has remained consistent and persistent in the pursuit of the mission of the farm.

Yes, we do have beautiful flowers and fun festivals, but Fields of Grace is actually a non-profit flower farm with a mission to provide a safe retreat for women with trauma and to care for caregivers in our community. We achieve this by hosting events and overnight retreats for women with trauma and by partnering with local organizations and serving both the women and families they serve, and also the staff at these organizations. 

Fields of Grace understands the importance of caring for those who care for others. The rural flower farm is a safe and unhindered environment that is able to provide a therapeutic and peaceful setting for women who have endured any type of trauma, especially those with overlooked trauma such as infertility issues, miscarriages, loss of a spouse/child/parent, adoption, mental or medical ailments, relational strains, those with a deep lack of sense of belonging, ambiguous loss, and so much more. 

This past year, in addition to growing our monthly donors, we have shifted our focus to one major spring fundraiser - Tulip Fest - with the prayerful intention to help sustain our mission at Fields of Grace. Specifically, to help get a kickstart on funding for our Tulip Fest, we are raising money towards the cost of our tulips bulbs, materials, and labor. This number amounts to $30,000.
