It all began with Arrow, a dog no one wanted. She was labeled “behavioral,” “too difficult,” “too much work.” Multiple rescues turned her away. But Randi saw something else: a best friend worth fighting for.

Arrow became the heartbeat behind Arrow’s Heart Animal Rescue. And today, more than a decade later, that same spirit guides every animal they take in: the vulnerable, the overlooked, and the ones who won’t survive unless someone steps forward.

The Opportunity

Arrow’s Heart takes the animals that most rescues in Minnesota say “no” to. Not because they don’t want to help, but because these animals incur medical costs that adoption fees can never cover.

And yet each one deserves a chance.

Dogs like Shaggy, whose guardian had to make the heartbreaking decision to give him up as he moved into an assisted living home.
