Travor is running the Altra Yorkshire Marathon 2026 for Back to Ours!

We're honoured that Travor Chessman, a long-term supporter of ours and a well-known friendly face at Bransholme Chat, has signed up for the Altra Yorkshire Marathon 2026 and has decided to raise money for Back to Ours! How fantastic is that!

Travor will be running 26.2 miles on Sunday 18^th October.

Trav asked us to set up this page on his behalf so supporters can sponsor him. All donations gratefully received.

Travor, who lives near to Bransholme, says: "Back to Ours does amazing work for Hull and brings communities and families closer together - I think it's the best organisation in the city! I was part of their 'Our City' event this year and I love everything they do in helping to support people with all of their great work. I would like to give something back to them and help raise money so they can do even more brilliant things in Hull."

Back to Ours is a registered charity and Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, which works closely with Hull neighbourhoods to bringing world-class art and culture experiences directly to communities.

Founded on the belief that art should be inclusive and accessible to all, Back to Ours debuted as part of Hull UK City of Culture 2017 and became a charity and NPO in 2023.
