Contributions are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes. Montana law requires us to report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $50 in a reporting period. The maximum contribution allowed by law for a municipal candidate is $450 per individual per election. Corporate contributions are prohibited. Contributions must be made from the donor’s own funds and may not be reimbursed by any other person or entity. By contributing, you affirm that you are a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident, at least 18 years old, and making this contribution with your own personal funds.
