Support TreeSpirit's Environmental Advocacy & Activism
Dear friends of TreeSpirit Project,
Thank you for offering financial support — this directly helps me continue and expand TreeSpirit's advocacy and activism for the environment. TreeSpirit has for years been a labor of love, but in these challenging times of a climate crisis, I feel more compelled than ever before to devote more time, energy, and my 15 years experience to advocate for trees, animals, our shared Earth, in TreeSpirit's unique way.
Each of us contribute in our own ways, and we can grow as people as we do. I had to overcome (unravel, really) my lifelong fear of public speaking to "speak for the trees" I've loved all my life. And learned, over the course of 15 years, to cause "good trouble" with the principles of non-violence — pacifism, not passivity — on an array of environmental issues.
Whether you feel most strongly about TreeSpirit's original devotion to trees & forests, or, more recently, for the tule elk of Point Reyes Seashore, or speaking out about the climate crisis, animal factories, or pesticides and Invasion Biology issues, all are interrelated.
The fate of the Earth's living systems — and us humans — are inextricably and intimately interconnected.
As more of us reconnect emotionally, even spiritually, with the natural world around us, especially during a pandemic and our climate emergency, our attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors will change for the better.
Thank you for contributing to this vision of a wiser path for us as individuals, and for humanity as a collective. Thank you for caring.
