#ArtMovesUs: 🚐 Artistry on Wheels
Thursday, 23 October marks a special day—but our movement starts now and continues beyond.
At Heartdancers, we believe art should reach everyone, everywhere. That's why we're turning caravans destined for landfill into sustainable pop-up stages that bring world-class arts and culture directly to regional and remote communities across NSW.
Every year, thousands of caravans are abandoned and discarded. We're giving them new life—and giving communities new opportunities for connection, healing, and joy.
By repurposing and refurbishing these caravans, we're creating mobile stages that travel to places where arts access is limited or non-existent. Starting on the Central Coast and expanding across NSW, Artistry on Wheels brings:
Live performances by multidisciplinary and First Nations & culturally diverse artists
Workshops and collaborations with local communities
Connection and belonging for vulnerable and isolated populations
Sustainable solutions that keep caravans out of landfill
Why Your Support Matters
Every donation helps us:
- Rescue and refurbish caravans into fully functional pop-up stages
- Bring professional artists to communities that rarely see live performance
- Create employment for local artists and technicians
- Reduce environmental impact by repurposing materials
- Foster connection in places experiencing isolation and disadvantage
Art Moves Us- And You Can Move It Forward
Whether you're passionate about the arts, committed to sustainability, or believe in the power of community connection—this is your chance to make a tangible difference.
Your donation doesn't just support a show. It supports:
- The child who discovers their love of music for the first time
- The elder reconnecting with cultural traditions
- The community coming together when they need it most
- The planet, through conscious repurposing and sustainable practice
Be Part of the Movement
Follow our journey. Share our stories. And most importantly—donate to help us drive arts, culture, and sustainability to those who need it most.
Together, we'll show the world how deeply #ArtMovesUs.
