Camp 2911
A Camp for Teens in Foster Care

Many of us have fond memories of summer camp, the friendships, experiences, and growth that happen in that unique environment. But for one group of children, opportunities for those experiences are seldom, if at all, available. You can help change that by supporting T.R.A.C. - Teen Reach Adventure Camp Austin. T.R.A.C. Austin is hosted by Camp 2911, a local 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization.
Teen Reach Adventure Camp - Austin is a camp designed specifically for 12-15 year old kids in foster care. Our single-gender camps give foster kids one of the most fun weekends of their entire lives! Our volunteers shower these students with love and encouragement. Through an amazing challenge course, arts and crafts, swimming, kayaking, canoe races, fishing, horseback riding and more, these kids that are victims of abuse, neglect and/or abandonment get to have a huge amount of fun. We even have a formal dance for the girls, where they get to pick out (and keep!) a formal dress, shoes and jewelry and dance the night away in a night thats made for them to be able to feel like a princess!

All of the staff for our camps are volunteers who have been interviewed, background checked and been through 8 hours of training to prepare.
The money you donate will be used to provide all of the necessary pieces to make camp happen. Facilities, food, gifts for the students, snacks, etc. are all included in our expenses.
TRAC Austin is run by Camp 2911, a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations made are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
