Tokyo Yamathon 2026 - Team Fundraising Challenge

This year, Pat, Hong and I have decided to take on the Yamathon, a 42 km adventure around Tokyo, stopping at all 30 stations on the Yamanote Line. We’re doing it for the challenge, for the craic, and most importantly, to raise money for a fantastic cause.

Our initial fundraising goal is ¥50,000, and we’d be absolutely thrilled to reach it. If we’re lucky enough to exceed that goal, every extra yen will make an even bigger impact. Whether it’s a small donation or a larger contribution, every bit of support means the world to us and will help keep us going through all 42 km.

YouMeWe supports teenagers in care as they transition into independent adulthood through education, mentorship, and career readiness programs. Their mission is to empower young people with the confidence and support needed to build stable futures.

YouMeWe provides educational support, mentoring programs, and career guidance to help young people who have grown up in children's homes and similar institutions grow into independent adults. We support young people so that they can move forward into the future with confidence.

SEGO

SEGO connects communities through hands-on environmental action, sustainability education, and conservation initiatives across both land and sea. Their mission encourages people to work together to protect the natural world for future generations.

Mirai no Mori provides outdoor adventure programs for vulnerable children in Japan, helping them build confidence, independence, resilience, and leadership skills through nature-based experiences and community support.

Japan Children's Hospice Association supports and strengthens children's hospices through awareness, advocacy, events, research, and community support. Their mission is to help create safe and compassionate spaces for children with serious illnesses and their families.
