Tim Taylor for Arizona
I’m running to be your next representative in the State House of Representatives.
This is where I grew up. It’s my home. My community. This is where I went to school, where I graduated college, where I met my wife, and where I’m raising my children.
I’m running to keep our community safe and secure our children’s future.
I know that the key to a prosperous future is a good education. And The founding fathers agreed.
John Adams said:“The whole people must take upon themselves the education of the whole people and be willing to bear the expenses of it. There should not be a district of one mile square, without a school in it, not founded by a charitable individual, but maintained at the public expense of the people themselves.”
As a father, I want the best possible option for my children, and I want it now. NOW is the time for action. Not in some hypothetical future. That’s why I’ll work diligently with the right people to bolster our education system both in funding and by bringing it into the 21st century.
I’m running to fight for equality and fairness and to ensure that everyone should be treated equally under the law. We need to strengthen our community and work to bring back respect for the men and women in blue.
I’m running to preserve the rights guaranteed to the states by the 10th Amendment and to act decisively when congress fails to do its job.
Everybody else talks about the problem, it’s time to find a solution. It’s time to get to work.
For 12 years I served my country, now it’s time for me to serve my community.
