This scholarship will help to improve and expand lives. we hope it inspires others to pass that help on to others in the future.

Stacie's story: Eighteen years ago a chance meeting with Tim forever changed my life. I was a single, teenage mom without any direction or plan. I went to San Jacinto that day with a friend for her to register, and Tim asked me my story. He talked me in to applying and scheduled my entrance tests. He repeatedly reached out to make sure I followed through with enrollment and my classes. He helped me get Blake into the college daycare where his son Kyle went. He cheered me on every step of the way, and continued to my entire career. Every Thursday at Anita’s I’d see him and his family while having dinner. He was there at my wedding. He drilled into me the importance of a foundation. I would not be where I am if It weren’t for Tim. He was a mentor, and a friend. I don’t know how bad it was for him, but he has left a void that will be impossible to replace.
