Tiger Membership Drive
PTO is a volunteer organization of parents and teachers who work together to continuously improve our school. We commit our time and energy to give back to our school by providing enrichment programs and events for our students and teachers. PTO spends approximately $90 per child each year and our budget covers things like school field trips for each grade, the science fair, educational school programming, the guided reading library, and other educational opportunities for our children. The district does not provide many of the programs and teaching materials which are used to enrich our school curriculum, but come solely from the contributions that you and other families make to our school.
What you give to us goes back to you through the enjoyment, enhancement, and success of your children. You don't have to donate money to be a part of CME's PTO, however unlike other schools where families must pay each time there is a field trip or special class project, we raise funds for these activities instead. Any contribution is appreciated, and also tax deductible. If you chose not to donate (or even if you do!) we also need some of your time, energy, and talents to work with our children, teachers, and staff to make CME the top elementary school in Fort Bend County!
