Through the Lens 2026

Cancer changed my life forever. In 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Triple Negative Metaplastic Breast Cancer, one of the rarest and most aggressive forms of breast cancer. What followed was a whirlwind of surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, fear, uncertainty, and learning how to find hope in the darkest moments.

One of the greatest blessings during that journey was discovering Ann's Place. They understand something that only those touched by cancer truly know—that healing is about much more than medicine. It's about having someone to listen, a place where you're understood, and a community that reminds you that you're not walking this road alone.

The Through the Lens fundraiser means so much to me because photography has the power to capture strength, resilience, hope, and the beauty that can still be found after unimaginable hardship. Every image tells a story, and every cancer survivor has one. Mine is a story of faith, perseverance, and gratitude for the second chance I've been given.

As a survivor, I know firsthand that organizations like Ann's Place change lives. They provide counseling, support groups, wellness programs, and countless resources for patients and families completely free of charge. They are there when people need them most.

Supporting Through the Lens is my way of giving back to an organization that has given hope to so many, including me. Every donation helps ensure that no one has to face cancer alone.
