Through the Lens 2026

I grew up in Queens, NY & raised my family on Long Island. I have always been a caregiver from babysitting as a teen to being a Daycare Provider while raising my kids & later as an Elder Care Coordinator.  

In 2009, while my mother was struggling with cancer, I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer. I wish there had been an Ann’s Place for us to turn to.  

I’ve been living in Heritage Village for 4 years now. Through my neighbors, I learned of Ann’s Place. I love that they support ALL cancers! 

I am an artist & crafter & I’m still a caregiver. Now I have a new chapter in my life & I spend it taking care of my 4 little grandkids-my greatest joy! 

Every day is a turn of the page in my “next chapter”.
