 I was diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago.  At that time I found Ann's Place which helped me thru the first round of chemo with a class on mindfulness.  After that I utilized their services of exercise classes, gardening classes and educational lectures.  When the Cancer returned and life became more stressful, I began utilizing their counseling services and other classes to help me cope with the ongoing illness.

I have been trying to give back to Ann's Place by volunteering, and when asked to apply to be a model for their Thru the Lens campaign I was glad to do so and was quite excited to be chosen as one of the models. I had my photo shoot in July and in Sept at the event all of the models photos and stories will be shared .

All of the services at Ann's Place are free to cancer patients, survivors and their families. I ask you to please consider making a donation to this exceptional organization.

Your donation directly supports local families by helping fund vital services for individuals and their loved ones as they navigate their cancer journeys.

Ann's Place is a wonderful organization providing much needed support to those battling cancer. I attended support groups, tai-chi and yoga classes, and even had some Reiki sessions to ease my chemo treatments 18 years ago. While I never want anyone to need the services, I am so glad Ann's Place is there for Judy and others.

I too have used Ann's Place to cope with my husband's illness and afterwards. They are an amazing organization and I am very happy to be able to support them and you. All of Ann's Place's services are free and once you utilize their services, you're part of their family forever. I used their counseling program to help me cope with my husband's illness and death, and I played Mah Jongg there until i moved out of the area, and I continue to participate in an exercise program via ZOOM now that I've moved. Those in the Danbury area are so lucky to have this organization as a resource.
