Through the Lens 2026

I am a member of a club that nobody wants to join.  Membership was thrust upon me, and I wasn't given the opportunity to refuse.  I have cancer.  There.  I said it.

One of the hardest things about living with cancer is everything that I suddenly need.  And the list of things that I can no longer do.  I have always been independent, and asking for help is incredibly difficult for me.  Finding Ann's Place has made things so much easier.  I have made friends who understand what I am experiencing, because they have experienced it too.  To be a member of a community where everyone supports one another is huge.  I have been fortunate.  I have not yet needed the full array of resources.  But when I do, I know they will be available to me, and a kind person will guide me along that leg of my journey.
