As most of you know Ann’s Place has been an important part of my life since my first cancer diagnosis in 2016. At Ann’s Place I feel a sense of community. I have been able to connect with people going through the same struggles and concerns. Whether it has been in a support group, art therapy classes or yoga (ok I’ve never taken a yoga class lol) but I do take the art classes. These are just a few of the programs that Ann’s Place offers to cancer patients and their families always at no charge. I have also had the honor in participating and volunteering in the many events that Ann’s Place has to offer and making wonderful friends along the way. This year I am so excited to be part of the “Through the Lens”. This fund raising event will help promote the programs Ann’s Place offers cancer patients and their families. Without Ann’s Place and the constant support of my family my cancer journey would have been a completely different experience. The support and love I have received I do and will always cherish.
