Thorne for Town Justice

I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for Colonie Town Justice! As someone who grew up in the Town of Colonie and now raises my family here, this community holds a special place in my heart.

It was during my junior year at Shaker High School, when I took a class that introduced me to the law, that I first realized my passion for justice. This sparked a journey that has led to nearly 20 years of legal experience.

I have been a prosecutor at the Albany County District Attorney's office, where I handled a wide range of cases, including felonies, misdemeanors, and vehicle and traffic matters, working in both County Court and local town and village courts across Albany County. Today, I serve as Assistant General Counsel at the Public Employees Federation, AFL-CIO, where I represent those in public service.

As Colonie Town Justice, I will bring my legal expertise, community-driven values, and dedication to fairness to every case I hear. I am incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to give back to the community that has given me so much.

I look forward to serving the residents of the Town of Colonie.
