Purchase Books for 100+ Underprivileged Children in Kenya

Summary

Tumaini Hand Mission (THM) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2012 and located in Eldoret, Kenya. The mission of THM is to provide education to children living in highly vulnerable conditions. The word “Tumaini” means “Hope” in Kiswahili language.

Challenge

Educational materials are needed for pre-primary-school children who live in slum areas with a high rate of illiteracy. The school provides free meals to encourage children to attend school and learn vital skills. 

Solution

The proposal is to purchase at least 200 books for the pre-primary-school children and share expertise regarding administration, management, finance and general resource mobilization.
