The Mia Joy Foundation

Supporting families in their most fragile moments.

The Mia Joy Foundation was created to walk alongside families navigating NICU journeys and those facing stillbirth or infant loss.

Whether a baby is still fighting in the NICU or a family is learning how to say goodbye, no parent should have to navigate those hours alone.

We offer tangible resources, community care, and advocacy rooted in lived experience.

This foundation was born from love.

 It is sustained by purpose.

And it exists so families feel held — not just handed information.

Your support will go toward funding our two initiatives:

The Grief Concierge:

A coordinated support model for families in acute crisis. This includes funeral home coordination, volunteer pet sitting, donated childcare, meals from local businesses, mental health referrals, and healing services. It will begin within our immediate network, with the long-term vision of building a volunteer infrastructure called Mia’s Angels.

The Mia Joy Project (NICU Support):

A national initiative creating community-based drop-off locations for NICU donations, particularly in lower-income areas. We will begin in communities connected to us and expand outward. We have already been able to do this at a local NICU.
